Gas Sales Piacenza-Itas Trentino 1-3 the report of the match

Itas Trentino arrives at PalaBanca also with Candellaro and Kovacevic; The first player starts in th starting six in place 3 while the second sits still on the bench. Gas Sales leads the beginning of the match and thanks to Nelli (block on Russell and attack) they immediately fly on 0-4, forcing the yellow-blue team to ask for a time out and ask another one on 0-6. Afterwards, Itas Trentino tries to start its game, working hard on the high-ball phase (4-10, 7-12) and making the most of Klemen Cebulj's potential. Guests believe more and more in the game but there is only one point separating the two teams (17-18). The comeback is stuck on the best because Nelli makes a new break (18-21) until a serving mistake by Russell.
At the beginning of the second set, Itas Trentino changes its approach and immediately begins to play well (5-3, 8-5). Piacenza is not discouraged but Trento becomes more effective net area and in defence and reach the 16-16, passing again to lead thanks to a block by Giannelli and Vettori (20-17). Trento hold the advantage and close the set with a block of Candellaro on Kooy for the 25-22.
In the wake of the enthusiasm, Giannelli and the team also started very well in the third set, with the service of Cebulj (two aces for 6-2). Piacenza does not reply (10-5 and 15-10), also because Trento puts great pressure between the net area and the defence. The attack of Yudin and Botto (17-13) is not enough to bring the hosts back into the game. The team with Russell and Vettori start off well and go straight to the 2-1 on the 25-16.
Gas Sales starts the fourth set with determination (4-7, 7-10); Trento suffers (9-11, 12-14) but and finds tie at 15 with two consecutive blocks of Cebulj. Thanks to the block of Lisinac (19-16) Trento manages to reach 25-21 which is worth 3-1 and guarantees three more points.
