On Sunday in Padua the 500th regular season match in the history of Trentino Volley

After the very important success of Wednesday night at the BLM Group Arena versus Milan, Itas Trentino is ready to turn the page and focus on the next encounter, already scheduled for Sunday in Padua. On February 9, starting at 6pm, the team will be playing at the Kioene Arena for the 20th round of the 2019/20 SuperLega Credem Banca regular season. This match will be broadcast live by RAI Sport + and Radio Dolomiti.
The team has already returned to training in the morning, when a weight training session was scheduled, followed in the late afternoon by a technical and tactical one on the central court of the facility in Via Fersina. The match will have a particular statistical importance for Trentino Volley; on that occasion the club will reach its 500th official matches played in the regular season of the top Italian championship.

Some statistics: Trentino Volley won 352 of the 499 matches already played in the regular season: 195 home wins at the BLM Group Arena (formerly PalaTrento), 157 away wins. The most frequent result obtained was the 3-0 victory, achieved on 177 occasions. The most frequent ko was the one with the score of 1-3 (64 times), while the total number of points obtained in the ranking is 1,036 (51.8 per season). The player who played the most matches is Andrea Bari (39% of the times - 196 out of 499), while Matey Kaziyski got the record for points achieved (2,444 points in 164 appearances) and the number of times he worn the captain's armband (92). The coach who led the team most from the bench is Radostin Stoytchev (200 appearances with 168 victories), while the opponents challenged more assiduously are Modena and Lube (39 previous ones already behind). Curiously, the Itas Trentino will play its match number 500 in regular season against the club with which it had played the first official within the friendly walls, October 22, 2000, against Padua then coached by chance by Angelo Lorenzetti (victory 3-2). On January 5, 2001, the first regular season ever: 3-1 at the Kioene Arena (then Pala San Lazzaro).
