Coronavirus emergency, CEV postponed all its events until April 3. Fivb postponed VNL

International Federations are also handling the health emergency related to the Coronavirus, which is now affecting the whole world. Today's news is that the CEV has postponed all its events and in particular the European Cups for Clubs at least until April 3; among them also the CEV Champions League, in which until now only one team had obtained access to the semi-finals: Kuzbass Kemerovo, thanks to the 3-1 victory in the second round of the quarter-finals on the field of Kedzierzyn-Kozle on Wednesday evening (Zaksa had won 3-2 in the first round).
Currently the only match on the calendar in the next few days is the Russian derby of 2020 CEV Cup between Novosibirsk and St. Petersburg, only because the double match (19-26 March) is scheduled in a nation where the contagion has not yet taken hold.
The FIVB has also run for cover, postponing the VNL 2020. On the calendar between the end of May and June, the annual Volleyball Nations League has been moved to the period following the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
