Trentino Volley is the Club in activity with the highest percentage of winning tie breaks

The weekly edition of "V com Volley" (translated V as Volley), the eight-page insert that the magazine "La Gazzetta dello Sport" dedicates to volleyball every Friday, today brings to light a particular statistical record held by Trentino Volley. The gialloblù Club is in fact the Italian club in activity that can boast the highest percentage of winning tie breaks in the Italian men's volleyball championship (first Serie A1, now SuperLega); the club in Via Trener won 85 out of 142, or 59.9%. In the "all time" ranking of this particular competition, presented on page 4 of the magazine, only Parma (with 65.5%) was able to do better. Trentino Volley is ahead of Rome (59.7%), Molfetta (59.3%) and Treviso (56.1%); the first club still active in the ranking is Modena (sixth with 55.4%), ahead of Civitanova (seventh with 55.2%).
The percentage of match victories in the fifth set is slightly lower for Trentino Volley if all the competitions played so far (Club World Cup, Champions League, CEV Cup, Coppa Italia, Super Cup) are taken into account: 57.2% with 107 victories in 187 fifth sets played.
