2019/20 season, the goodbye to the yellow-blue team via conference call

The definitive closure of all the championships, decreed by Federvolley on the evening of Wednesday 8 April, put an end the twentieth season of Trentino Volley. The yellow-blue club, in an absolutely different way than usual, without matches, without the ritual greetings to the fans, without the ritual "goodbye" moments such as meeting the fans in a bar in the city centre of Trento and without the usual dinner at the end of the season with sponsors and authorities, it unwillingly had to officially say goodbye to the team. The club has necessarily used a conference call to do this. President Diego Mosna wanted to personally greet and thank the athletes and staff for their commitment in the seven months of training and matches, and at the same time send a message of trust and hope for the future of Trentino Volley and volleyball.

From today, players are free to go back home or to stay in Trento waiting for developments about the Coronavirus Emergency situation. Considering the long stop period and at the same time taking into account that athletes can’t stay inactive for many months, the staff (technical and physical) is already planning the resumption of activity in the coming months; activities that will start only when the health regulations for the containment of the epidemic allow it and in absolute compliance of the health of the players, technicians and collaborators involved in the training.

The managerial and administrative staff will work to close this season and to open the next one in the best possible way.
