Lorenzetti: "I love Trento too much, grateful to those who chose me"

Directly from his home in Modena, where he returned a few weeks ago, Trentino Volley coach Angelo Lorenzetti took part this afternoon in a live interview on the Instagram account of journalist Lorenzo Dallari, telling his story thoroughly. The Coronavirus Emergency could only be the initial topic.
"For all of us, a new phase of our life has begun a month ago," he explained. "From now on, many things will inevitably be different and we must be ready and be able to see the future a little bit. In this period, I'm studying a lot, I'm trying to keep working relationships alive anyway, especially thanks to my phone, but at the same time I'm trying to learn something new not only about volleyball. There is no shortage of time and, if possible, it should be used. I do not have a crystal ball, there are no certainties about resuming the activity; the data we have in our hands do not allow us to be either pessimistic or too positive. I hope that the future of volleyball will be in line with the style that this sport has always had and that has always distinguished it".
"We must be able to fight Coronavirus and resist the renunciations it is forcing us to -
continued Lorenzetti - ; the emergency of this period reminded us of the fragility of our lives, because we are all torn down by something that we cannot even see. It is difficult to become invincible, but all these current feelings will give us further strength when we return to the gym. The long quarantine behind us will make all gestures less obvious and more heartfelt. Isolation has allowed nature to take revenge on man, showing who is stronger. In fact, Coronavirus will not take away neither the sea nor the mountains, we will embrace them even more warmly. They are great riches"."Living on volleyball  was a great opportunity given to me in the nineties by the then Technical Commissioner of the Italian National Men's Team Julio Velasco, who looked for me for a federal project at youth level. Because of it I decided to leave my job in order to become a full-fledged technician - revealed Angelo - . Trentino Volley is a beautiful club, because there is always complete sharing of objectives and choices. I am lucky to have a President who trust, full of optimism and positivism. His strength is a great lesson. I built a beautiful relationship with General Manager Bruno Da Re, with whom I compare myself on a daily basis. The Club is accustomed to never taking steps longer than the leg. In my career Trento has meant a lot, I am grateful that I was chosen by a historical opponent and that I was welcomed with great pleasure. Here I'm in a great place. I have received a lot in my career, but it's important consider not only victories. There are moments that are still important. For example, my first season as coach of Serie A1 in Padua, or the one in Verona. I think I'm very lucky to all intents and purposes, also to have to deal with players like Giannelli, an extraordinary lad. Allow me to wish Jenia Grebennikov, who decided to stay in Trento and wait for the happy event of the birth of her son Miyaz on Monday evening. Waiting for the birth has united us even more, just at a time when we could never be together in the gym".
