Lorenzetti: "Preparation up to the expectations, but we must be demanding"

With thirty-seven days of preparation already behind them, Itas Trentino’s players continues training at the BLM Group Arena without any problem. Today the players had two training sessions: individual technique in the morning, weights and ball in the late afternoon.
“The first part of the work has been in line with our expectations - said Angelo Lorenzetti - ; I am happy to already feel a good harmony in the group, but it is also important to point out how the condition of the squad is gradually getting better. This will facilitate their integration and the idea of volleyball of Trentino Volley. In the next month of training we will need patience: we know we have to shape a completely new team and this takes time. However, we need to reach good levels immediately".
"The SuperLega 2020/21 calendar, which will offer us many big matches, can be read in two different ways - continued the yellow-blue coach - ; if on the one hand it is complicated to start with such an important commitment, on the other hand we can imagine that facing many high-level opponents can guarantee a better preparation for the preliminary rounds of the Champions League. After August 15th we will be able to count on the entire team, taking into account that Alessandro Michieletto will return to work with us after a month and a half with the Under 20 national team”.
