Trentino Itas-OK Vojvodina Seme Novi Sad 3-0, the match report

Match report: the starting six aren’t particularly surprising; indeed, the line-up organized by Angelo Lorenzetti consists of Giannelli as leader, Nimir Abdel-Aziz opposite, Lucarelli and  Kooy at place 4, Cortesia and Podrascanin as middle-blockers, Rossini libero. OK Vojvodina Seme Novi Sad’s line-up is formed by Cubrilo as setter, Blagojevic as opposite, Peric and Kovacevic as hitter spikers, Masulovic and Simic as central blocks, Negic as libero. At the beginning the points are balanced; the Serbian team is good in reception (5-5 and 10-10) while gialloblù has to wait until 12-10 (error in attack by Kovacevic) to begin the advantage. Thanks to Lucarelli (14-10) and another error by the opponents (Blagojevic) the points are increasing fast (16-12); almost at the end of the set Itas scores again (21-17, 23-19) and wins it 25-19 thanks to 2 break points scored by the player at place 4 (25-19).
The Serbian team begins well the 2nd set, while gialloblù aren’t playing well (1-3, 3-7); Lorenzetti calls a time-out and Cortesia scores in attack and ace (6-7), then Lucarelli and Nimir shot (10-10). Itas Trentino speeds up and increases the advantage (13-11 e 15-11), the Dutch player is the author of many points. Once arrived at 19-15 Lorenzetti gives Lisinac the opportunity to debut in this season, the fans are extremely happy. Giannelli still prefers playing with Nimir (23-19) and then Lucarelli (25-20). During the 3rd set Lisinac remains on field instead of Cortesia; Trentino Itas wants to conclude the match quickly so tries to score at serve (Nimir 6-4 and Giannelli 10-6). But suddenly Novi Sad serves well (12-10), so on the other hand gialloblù speed up, Kooy and Lisinac show their skills at block (17-12). Trento, once Argenta comes in instead of Nimir, has such ad advantage that the victory is within an inch (20-13). At the end young Pol and Acuti block scoring the victory (25-18).
