Champions League, 3-1 against Karlovarsko: second victory for Trentino Itas in Pool E

During the second day of matches of Pool E of 2021 CEV Champions League, Trentino Itas achieved its second victory. As well as gialloblù team did last Tuesday, winning against the Russian team Novosibirsk, so had done today against the Czech team Karlovarsko. It eventually got the victory, despite the difficulties during the initial set and the very last one. 3-1 is the final result of tonight’s match, played at the BLM Group Arena. This victory will let Angelo Lorenzetti’s team play during the last day of this first round against the German team Friedrichshafen; right this afternoon the team has defeated Novosibirsk (3-0).
After a difficult beginning of the match (the Russians were in advantage), the home team managed to show a good a continuity and showed its abilities, above all during the 2nd and 3rd match. During the last one Itas did not let the opponent team have the possibility to recover. As well as yesterday, Dick Kooy - the Dutch hitter spiker, in the end MVP; scored 18 points, 55 % in attack. Among the others players of Itas, particularly good was also Lisinac (16 points, 58% in attack, 5 blocks and 4 aces) and Argenta, who scored some important points during the second and fourth set.
