2024/25 Season Sets TV Viewership Record: 69% of Matches Broadcast Nationally

Over 180 hours and a record 69% of matches broadcast live on television: an exceptional 25th season for Trentino Volley’s men’s team, not only for their on-court success but also for their media exposure.
The strong appeal that the yellow-blue club has historically enjoyed was further amplified during the 2024/25 season, reaching record-breaking numbers. A total of 36 matches featuring Itas Trentino were broadcast live on television: 16 exclusively by RAI (Regular Season, Playoffs, and Coppa Italia), 15 exclusively by DAZN (Regular Season, Playoffs, Club World Championship, and CEV Cup), and 5 shared between both broadcasters during the Playoffs.
In total, 69% of Trentino Volley’s official matches (36 out of 52) were aired live, offering significant visibility for both the sponsors supporting the club and the fans, who also had access to highlights of 40 domestic matches via RTTR, Trentino Volley’s historic media partner.
Live broadcast time on RAI (free-to-air) totaled nearly 41 hours (40 hours and 45 minutes). Including DAZN’s broadcasts (35 hours and 12 minutes), RTTR’s delayed replays (28.5 hours), and 76 hours and 14 minutes of international live streaming from Volleyball World TV—which aired all matches except those in the 2025 CEV Cup—the overall total reached 180 hours and 36 minutes.
To this, we can add the women’s team coverage: in the Serie A2 championship, they benefited from 65 hours of free international live streaming via Volleyball World TV and the same amount aired regionally on RTTR (42 hours), thanks to full-match replays broadcast every Tuesday in prime time.
