Champions League, Trentino Itas stronger than the absences

Trentino Itas closes the European concentration of three days at the BLM Group Arena, achieving yet another feat of this start of December. The final match at the top of the first concentration of Pool E of Main Phase of 2021 CEV Champions League favoured the gialloblù team, which was able to impose the stop at the Germans of Friedrichshafen. The final victory by 3-0 shown how extraordinary were Nimir and teammates in their performance, starting at the last moment with another absence, the one of Kooy who suffered a muscle injury to the abdominals a few hours before the match (recovery times to be evaluated). With a practically obligatory sextet with Argenta as opposite spiker and Michieletto as spiker, as well as Nimir as setter, the hosts were even more committed and determined in seeking victory, which arrived in only three sets because the opponents were destroyed in net and in service, fundamentals scored ten times. Between the driving forces, Lucarelli, MVP of the match with ten points and 80% in net, but also Lisinac (good confirmation in centre of the net with four personal blocks) and Michieletto (best scorer with Srecko with twelve points) offered a fundamental contribution. Instead, for Nimir Abdel-Aziz there are no more words to say: as setter he scored ten times, doing everything well and scoring also five aces. A good way to return to think about SuperLega, hoping that the sick players will come back.
