Nimir: “Against Lube a victory of a real team: we have chosen the right path”

“I’m happy for the victory against Lube of Monday, especially because it arrived playing as a real team – said Nimir Abdel-Aziz after the great victory by 3-0 on Civitanova in the postponement of the fourteenth turn of SuperLega - ; everyone offered their contribution and this was another demonstration of the absolute competitivity of our team. From the first to the last point, we played with the right strength, even if I think we can grow under many points of view as well. However, the path we chose is right; in the latest weeks, we have demonstrated which type of volleyball we can offer, and this match was important to prove ourselves that we can play against everyone”.
“On Monday evening, we focused a lot on the service and reception, and we succeeded in overcoming our opponents, working very well in the second line in containing the power of their service – continued the Dutch opposite spiker - . Lube did really great at service as well, but Michieletto, Lucarelli and Rossini were really good. It is also for this reason that I think that in our success there is more our merit than Civitanova's demerit; it’s difficult thinking to win a match of this level only using the mistakes of the opponents.”
The match of Thursday with Milano is postponed to a later date, Itas Trentino had the entire Tuesday off and from Wednesday morning will start preparing the next appointment in SuperLega, scheduled on Sunday 20 December against Piacenza, always at the BLM Group Arena (at 18 – broadcast live on RAI Sport + and Radio Dolomiti).
