CEV Champions League, set the prize money for 2021 edition

The CEV governing body decided upon the overall prize money for 2021 edition (the one currently in progress) of CEV Champions League. The biggest continental competition per Club will give by May 1st (date of the Final) 4.8 Million euros between the male competition and the female competition. Whoever wins will take home 500,000 euros, a figure that represents the absolute record ever reached by the competition; the second qualified will have 250,000 euros, the teams that will reach the semifinal will have 125,000 euros each. These figures, as well as the total prize money made available, proves the incessant efforts of CEV to alleviate the effects of Covid-19.
Trentino Itas is still in the running to qualify for the quarterfinals, occupying the first place of Pool E of Main Phase at the end of the first round; in just over a month in Friedrichshafen, it will be played the concentration valid for the second round that will assign a place between the top eight teams of Europe to the team that will rank in the lead at the end of the six days of matches.
