Start to pre-season training; four players for Lorenzetti

This afternoon it has started the preparation for the 2021/2022 season of the new Itas Trentino. At the BLM Group Arena in Trento, Trentino Volley officially met up to start the training in view of the first official appointment (expected for the 10 October – home debut in SuperLega against Verona); even though only less than half players of the new team (four out of thirteen) were present since the first day of training, the present media has been curious. We still need to wait for the hug with the fans, because the activity is going to be carried out behind closed doors for the moment.
The group available to Angelo Lorenzetti for the first part of work can count on the setter Lorenzo Sperotto, the opposite spiker Daniele Albergati, the libero Carlo De Angelis, and the spiker Matey Kaziyski, who was able to wear again the yellow-blue jersey since the last time, five and a half years ago. The presence of the legendary protagonist of fifteen out of the eighteen victories of the corporate history has been the most interesting and suggestive moment of the day. Together with the four players during the first weeks, eight of the most interesting prospects of the Youth Sector will train, who will then play the Serie B championship with UniTrento Volley: the setter Depalma, the opposite spiker Brignach, the spikers Bonizzato and Parolari, the middle blockers Coser, Dell’Osso, and Simoni, and the libero Ceolin.
The technical and medical staff who work for all the season with the coach of Marches is already completed and it presents the new faces of the physiotherapist Luca Pirani and the scoutman Fabio Dalla Fina. To ensure that the work of the yellow-blue team proceeds in the best way, there will be again the Team Manager Riccardo Michieletto, at his seventeenth season between field and desk in Trentino Volley, the Assistant Coach Francesco Petrella, the Athletic Trainer Lorenzo Barbieri (who has directed the first training of today in the weight room, followed immediately by an hour of technical training), and the team doctor Mauro Bertoluzza.
The schedule of the first week of preparation is going to be particularly intense work both in the morning and the afternoon of Tuesday and Thursday, while in the days of Wednesday and Friday there is scheduled only an afternoon training. The following weekend is fully dedicated to rest and recovery. We need to wait a month to see the team at work in a test match; the first non-official appointment is scheduled for Thursday 23 September at the Kioene Arena in Padova with a joint training with the local formation. There are also scheduled another two appointments: Saturday 2 October at the BLM Group Arena with the team of Padua and Wednesday 6 October at home with Milan.
