SuperLega, Perugia dominates with serve: Itas Trentino loses in three sets

The PalaBarton in Perugia wards off Itas Trentino in the big match of the fifth round of regular season SuperLega Credem Banca 2021/22. The hosts of Sir Safety Conad has confirmed their invincibility in the championship, regulating the yellow-blue in three sets of a one-way match, in which the service revealed a deep gap between the two formations already in the first set and made the difference in the following ones, when the game has been more fought.
With the strength of its service (scored 12 times, 7 only with Leon) but also the one of the attack of high ball, the Umbrians have already cornered Lorenzetti’s team that, without Michieletto, suffered in second line but also in finding solutions at the net when the ball was playable for Sbertoli. Clearly lost the first set, in the second and third set Kaziyski and teammates tried to respond blow for blow, yet they lost their way in the final when Leon and Anderson came back to assert their authority in the break points phase.
