Leo Shoes PerkinElmer-Itas Trentino 3-0, the match report

The commentary of the match. Itas Trentino came to PalaPanini without Podrascanin (still in isolation due to a positive family member) and Kaziyski (slight sprain to the right foot suffered during the morning's training session), playing a very young team in which the player with most experience was Lisinac.
Lorenzetti confirms D'Heer in diagonal position with the Serbian central and proposes the three-setters module, with Cavuto taking the captain's place in the spiker position together with Michieletto. Sbertoli at setter, Lavia opposite and Zenger libero are the other starters. Leo Shoes PerkinElmer responds with Bruno at setter, former players Nimir and Rossini as opposite and libero respectively, Earvin Ngapeth and Leal as setters, Mazzone and Stankovic in the middle. The start of the match is all about Emilia (1-4), with Trento suffering in reception (two aces by Ngapeth) and making mistakes in attack with Lisinac. The time-out is a releaf, because when Lisinac returns to the court he makes up for it, helped by D'Heer's quick serves (8-9). Another point serve, this time by Nimir, widens the gap (10-13), but Cavuto immediately responds by making the yellow team feel the pressure (14-15, time out by Giani). At the return to the court, two mistakes by Leo Shoes and another D'Heer's ace give the first advantage of the evening to the guests (17-15); the +2 doesn't last long because then the opponent's high ball is unleashed (18-19). The end of the match is exciting: Modena flies to 20-22, Trento ties the score at 23 and then finishes with an ace by Michieletto (24-23). The Emilians nullified two set points for Lorenzetti's team and then closed out the second chance with two consecutive points by Mazzone (slash and block on Cavuto for 26-28).
The balance of the first part of the match lasts only until the 1-2 of the second set, because Leo Shoes PerkinElmer gets off to a fast start with serve, block and counterattack, immediately imposing on Itas Trentino (2-6 and 2-9). Even before the halfway point of the match, Lorenzetti had already spent the two time-outs at his disposal, but it was at that very moment that his team resumed play with Lavia in great form, pushing his team to 8-12. This is actually the last gasp of the guests, because then Nimir takes the lead, guiding his team (10-16, 13-20) towards a clear victory (15-25) and 0-2 in the set count.
In the third period, the game returns to a balanced situation that lasts only until 6-6, because then Leo Shoes tries to take advantage (7-10), led by Nimir's aces and attacks (10-15). Trento still believes in it; with Lavia and D'Heer (super block on Stankovic), it reaches 18-21 and then clamorously ties the score at 22, taking advantage of some "amnesia" on the part of the opponents. Leo Shoes falters but becomes stronger right at the end, sealing a 0-3 partial that closes the set and the match on 22-25.
