2021 Club World Championship, bronze medal for Trentino Itas!

1.105 days after the last time (December 2nd 2018), Trentino Volley gets on the colourful podium once again. The vice-champions of Europe concluded its path of the Club World Championship 2021 with a victory and the resulting bronze medal tonight, winning in three sets against the Brazilian team of Funvic. The team won in the final that was worth the third place in the event played in Betim.
The ninth participation in the most important international Club tournament for the Society of Trener street finished with a smile, giving another successful achievement in the competition after five years of first places (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2018) and the same result won in Betim in 2013 and 2016.
In today’s match, Trentino Itas showed it was able to turn page after the defeat of the previous day in the semifinal against Lube, starting again from the many beautiful things shown in that match. The team played volleyball with confidence for the majority of the match. A match full of technique, strategy and lots of blocks (15 winning blocks in just three sets), but also a match full of determination, pointed out during the defensive phase.
The captain Kaziyski (18 points with a 61% in attack, 4 blocks and 3 aces), Lavia (same score, but 71% at the net and also three blocks) and Michieletto, also with double digit, made it possible to achieve perfection and the success of a never questioned 3-0. these are important elements also for the tournament in Italy, where the team will have to face once again the Champions League and SuperLega.
