Champions League, in the Quarter final Trentino Itas will play once again against Berlin

The four combinations of the quarter final for 2022 CEV Champions League were officiated in Luxembourg this morning. In the direct elimination phase of the maximal continental trophy, Trentino Itas will face the German team Berlin Recycling Volleys (first classified in Pool D) with the first game that will be played at BLM Group Arena and the second one in Germany. The two Clubs have already played against one another in the quarter final of the previous edition with two victories for the yellow-blue team and the resulting move to the next turn.
The date: the first match of quarter final will be between March 8th and 10th in Trento, the second one between March 15th and 17th in Berlin. To set the precise date and time of the match we will have to wait for the confirmation of each Society, in agreement with the respective national federation and local television.
Those that will access the semifinal in program between the end of March and the beginning of April will be the four teams that will win both matches. Only in the case that both teams have won one match each at tie-break or in the case they have won a match each at the fourth set, they will have to play at the end of the second match the Golden set till 15 points. The team that will pass the turn between Trentino Itas and Berlin Recycling Volleys will play against the winning team between San Pietroburgo-Perugia. The final as single-elimination game is set to be on May 21st in a facility that must still be defined.
