Itas Trentino ready for the Final Four of Coppa Italia

Itas Trentino started the week in the right way in the Final Four of the Del Monte® Coppa Italia 2022 in Bologna. This evening, the team completed its SuperLega Credem Banca 2021/22 schedule by defeating Tonno Callipo Calabria Vibo Valentia 3-0 in the match valid for the 15th round of the regular season.
An auspicious result in view of Saturday night's semifinal at the Unipol Arena against Milan, but also very useful for the championship standings; the three points conquered also in this occasion push Lorenzetti's team more and more in third place, nine points ahead of Modena that still has to recover two games. Today's match highlighted the good form of Michieletto (best scorer with 18 points, 4 of which were with the block, with 50%) and Lisinac, who scored sixteen times and was perfect in every fundamental, as shown by the 9 out of 9 in the first half, 4 personal blocks and 3 aces without a single error at the servicet. In double figures also Lavia (11 points with 53%) and a good performance by Podrascanin, on the field for the entire match and scoring with 57% and a block. This was what was needed to immediately keep the Calabrian team at bay and, in fact, never allowed them to play point to point in every single set.
