HERE ITAS TRENTINO After a month, the yellow-blue team is going to play a match outside the national borders (the last time was in Cannes, on 16th February), with the aim of gaining another positive result in order to get to the semi-finals qualification of the competition, the intermediate goal had already been reached last season and, in general, in six occasions in the history of Trentino Volley.
“The result that we got in the first round was obviously important, but it doesn’t give us the qualification taken alone – explained the coach Angelo Lorenzetti - . We are at least sure that we can risk the golden set, but it’s clear that we will have to first gain the access to semi-finals. To do so we will have to play a determinate and wise match, because we will face a more motivated and ready Berlin, which is pushed by its public, a factor that will surely give our opponents more confidence.”
Itas Trentino arrives to the appointment with the victory of six out of eight away-matches played in 2022 and fourteen out of eighteen total matches played in the new year. Daniele Lavia is still available in the yellow-blue team (he is in the group but still dealing with the abdominal injury that has kept him in the box in the last seven days), for this reason Giulio Pinali will be in the starting six as opposite-spiker.
Itas Trentino will play against Berlin Trentino Volley the 194th international match of its history (report 157 victories, 36 defeats), the 112th match of always in Champions League, in which it has won 43 out of 61 away-games matches.
