Lorenzetti interrupts the game and a few minutes later, on 15-15, inserts Lavia for Pinali; Itas Trentino reacts with another ace by Michieletto (17-16) and with a counterattack by the new player (19-17). The guests go back up to 20-20 with a block by Holt and then go ahead again (21-23) with a counterattack by Lagumdzija and an error by Michieletto at the net. The Trentino time out clears the minds of the house masters who, with a 4-1 partial thanks to Michieletto, lead 25-24, after having annulled a set ball; two chances are needed at the advantages before going ahead 1-0. The decisive point is signed by Alessandro again, with another winning serve.
The sprinting success of the first part of the match galvanizes the Gialloblù Team, who start at full speed in the second period (7-3 and 10-4) thanks to the usual Michieletto and a block-defense correlation that offers many rebuilding opportunities, punctually put to the ground by Kaziyski, Lisinac and Pinali. At the best moment, however, Trento lets down the tension and gives the side to the opponent's comeback; Matey himself struggles to pass (11-8) and at the second block suffered by the Bulgarian, the Emilians are within two (12-10). The home team takes the reins of the game with Lisinac and Pinali (15-12 and 19-14), assisted by Alessandro, who scores another ace. It's the decisive break, because afterwards Gas Sales Bluenergy despite trying a generous comeback (21-17) never manages to get really close, allowing the Gialloblù Team to close the 2-0 already on 25-20 (attack without block by Pinali).
The script does not change in the third set, with the Trentino team running away immediately (5-3 and 7-3), this time thanks to Pinali (double ace). Bernardi interrupts the game twice in the space of a few minutes (the second time out is on 13-8), but his team struggles to react, makes a lot of mistakes on the serve and in attack, favoring the lengthening of the locals (18-9), led by the blue opposite spiker, who also scores with the block. The 3-0 lead is now mature and comes at 25-16, with Kaziyski also joining the party, scoring a couple of points with his full arm.
