Lorenzetti: "The first set was definitely the deciding factor in the match"

"At the beginning we felt a little bit of tension, as it was natural and as it happened to our opponents - explained coach Angelo Lorenzetti at the end of the match - but then we managed to loosen up and won the match, which will now allow us to have two chances to try and make an assault on the semifinals. The first set was definitely the deciding factor in the match, which was also marked by a great performance on the serve, which I didn't expect to be so incisive, and by an effective ball change even in difficult rotations. Looking ahead to game 2, we need to improve our block-defense correlation".
In eight days, Sunday, April 3, game 2 will be played at PalaBanca in Piacenza starting at 6 pm: live coverage by RAI Sport +, Radio Dolomiti and Volleyball World Tv. Before this appointment, however, the Gialloblù will be in Perugia on Wednesday, March 30th at 8:30 pm to play the first leg of the 2022 CEV Champions League semifinal against the local team.
