Piacenza, Lorenzetti: "We have the tools to continue to play well

“From the second set on, the Piacenza’s match level increased,” explained at the end of the match Itas Trentino’s trainer Angelo Lorenzetti. “We were good at responding points after points till the end, despite going down in the attack fundamental. We pull ourselves back together more than once during the match, achieving several opportunities to close the match in our favour without being able to do so. We have known about the difficulties that this group in the quarter final would have had since the eve of the match, but we were the main characters even in today’s match. An intensive and decisive weeks awaits us, and we will face it with our head held high because we have the tools to continue to play well: we must not be afraid”.
Before playing the tie-breaker with Piacenza, on Sunday April 10th at 6.30 p.m. at BLM Group Arena, the yellow-blue formation will be back for its viewers on Thursday April 7th at 8.30 p.m. to play the second round of the semifinal of 2022 CEV Champions League against Perugia.
