Club World Championship, Sada reignin Champions defeated 3-0: back in the Final!

After four years Trentino Itas is back in the final for the Volleyball Club World Championship. Tonight’s 3-1 success against the reigning champions Sada Cruzeiro, during the first semifinal of the World Championship 2022 edition, brought joy and happiness to Trener Street’s society, who on Sunday December 11th at 8 p.m. (Italian hours) will be competing at the Ginasio Poliesportivo Divino Braga for the sixth World Champions title of its history. It will compete against Sir Safety Susa Perugia in a whole Italian match, which proves the strong competitivity of SuperLega Credem Banca.
Trentino Itas secured this opportunity by a perfect approach to the match, surprising the opponents. With an immediate vivid service, a high focused block and an attack out of this world (65% teamwork with Michieletto’s sprints at 75% and Kaziyski 60%), the yellow-blue team literally crushed Sada, who tried to reply blow by blow only in the second set. The first one, won 25-13, and the third one, secured 25-17, saw Lorenzetti’s team as the protagonists, who showed an incredible performance also on mental level. Michieletto’s aces (4, best scorer with 17 points), Kaziyski’s counterattacks and Lavia and Podrascanin’s blocks, wiped away every chance for the Brazilian team to reply, losing the possibility to gain the World Championship title in just 70 minutes of play.
