Lorenzetti: "This was a match I had been waiting for for a year..."

"I'll be honest: this was a match I had been waiting for for a year, or rather since Sada had beaten us 3-0 in the group stage of the 2021 World Club Championship," Trentino Itas coach Angelo Lorenzetti commented at the end of the match. “We couldn't have played better to try to redeem that defeat; right from the first exchanges we put in many of our qualities, surprising our opponents who perhaps didn't expect to have to play such an uphill match. We were good because we did not allow them to react, as they usually do".
