Trentino Itas-CEZ Karlovarsko 3-0, the match report

Here is the match report. Trentino Itas gets on court in front of its public after the participation to the Volleyball Club World Championship in Brazil with a modified starting six compared to the previous matches; Lorenzetti makes Lavia and Kaziyski have a break and choose Sbertoli as setter, Nelli as opposite spiker, Džavoronok and Michieletto (Captain tonight) as hitter spikers, Lisinac and Podrascanin as middle blockers, Laurenzano as libero. Ĉez Karlovarsko replies with Keemink as setter, Sasak as opposite spiker, Inhat and Wiese in position 4, Zaijcek and Weir as middle blockers, Pfeffer as libero. The yellow-blue team starts convincingly; Michieletto attacks and makes an ace and Lisinac blocks Sasak, Trento immediately goes to 6-2, the Džavoronok unleashes (two serves for 9-3, a block for 11-4): the guests suffer. Nelli also participates in Trentino Itas moment of glory (13-6) and then it is Michieletto itself, who does really good at the net in the middle part of the first set (18-10 and 20-13), who took a 1-0 lead as early as 25-17.
It took Trentino Itas just a few passes to take over the second set as well: Lisinac and Nelli strike a blow again with serve, turning the initial 4-5 lead into 10-6 (Novak calls time out). Later, Džavoronok becomes unstoppable (two attacks and one ace) and the hosts quickly get to 15-8, which wipes out any Czech chances of scoring points to even level off the sets. The second half of the set is then played in absolute ease by the yellow-blue team (19-12 and 21-13), who score points from all parts of the court and with all players. D'Heer also goes in, marking the 2-0 point (25-15).
ĈEZ Karlovarsko tries to upset it in at the start of the second set, but its attempt (3-5, Inhat's ace) lasts only a few seconds, as Michieletto and Nelli tie the score already at 6. In the middle part, it is two blocks by the same two players that create the gap (13-10); the Czechs hide in a time out, which, however, does not help them to get their bearings in the effectiveness during the sideout phase. Alexander continues to rage at the net (16-11), well supported in the final game also by Džavoronok (18-12) and D'Heer (20-13). The 3-0 lead came at 25-17 with an attack by Michieletto, as usual.
