Rome, Lorenzetti: "We would have had to play a volley at the edge of perfection..."

"In the last month, the statistics described well how much Piacenza had grown in its way of playing and this weekend it confirmed it” - explained Itas Trentino coach Angelo Lorenzetti after the match - “To reply blow for blow to an opponent so on the ball we would have had to play a volley at the edge of perfection or at least of another level, but today we never did. In the sideout phase we immediately struggled, then Gas Sales Bluenergy's serve hurt us further; in this set we were initially not very incisive, then with a few players we found some good cues but we were never able to carry on our rotations for so many consecutive turns. The difference in two of the three sets was minimal, but in position 4 Leal and Lucarelli harmed us."
Itas Trentino will already come back to Trento in the night and starting Tuesday will begin preparing for their next SuperLega engagement, scheduled on Sunday, March 5th at 6 p.m. in Padova (penultimate round of the regular season).
