SuperLega, the last away match of the regular season delivers three points and 2nd place

After the interlude related to the Coppa Italia Final Four, Itas Trentino resumed its run in the regular season of SuperLega Credem Banca 2022/23 exactly where it left off, that is, with an away win. This evening the yellow-blue team conquered the Kioene Arena in Padua in four sets, winning the entire stake in the last away engagement of the regular season of its championship.
The simultaneous defeat of Modena at the tie break at home against Monza offered further value to the result obtained by the yellow-blue, who from Veneto not only gained their thirteenth victory in the championship, but also took second place in the standings, one point ahead of the Valsa Group when only the direct clash (Sunday 12th March at the BLM Group Arena) is missing. In order to gain a position in the standings Lorenzetti's team had to suffer, fight with the knife between their teeth, and only after a long point-to-point battle did they break the resistance of the locals, who were hunting for salvation points. They didn't find them because, after a stuttering start, Kaziyski (another 25 personal points, with 61% attack, a block and one of the three aces scored by his team) and Michieletto (22 with 54%, two blocks and a point shot) were able to take the team on their shoulders in the most difficult moment; At 1-1, the contest became very tight and was resolved in favour of the yellow-blue thanks to the extraordinary scoring ability of the captain and the continuity at the net of the young left-handed star, well served by Sbertoli and also helped during the match by Podrascanin (12 with 64%) and Lavia (13 with 54%). Also positive was the return to the starting line-up of Lisinac, reasonably still not used much in the first half but already very present in the middle of the net (62% and two blocks).

Below the scoreboard of the match valid for the twenty-first day of the regular season of SuperLega Credem Banca 2022/23 played this evening at the Kioene Arena in Padova.
