Play Off, Monza beaten for 3-0 in game 4: Itas Trentino gets to the semifinals again

The fifth seasonal success (out of the six played matches) on Vero Volley opens to Trentino Itas the fifteenth Play Off Scudetto semifinal door (out of twenty overall participations). By winning 3-0 against the Monza team, as it already happens on November 6th, Kaziyski and his teammates secured the Quarterfinals series already in game 4, gaining therefore the possibility to train at the gym for the next ten days before the semifinal start.
The yellow-blue team achieved the first of the two opportunities to pass the opening round of the final scoreboard tonight at the Monza Arena and it has to wait until Easter Monday to know opponent to fight in the next round: either Modena or Piacenza, who will play their last match just on that day.
Today’s match in Brianza confirmed Trentino Itas’ increasing technical, physical and mental conditions, who amazingly replied blow.to-blow in the first two sets against Monza, who attempted a comeback many times but, in the end, was beaten Lorenzetti’s’ team determination in the break point phase. The ones who took advantage of the many comeback situations offered were Lavia (11 points with 57% in attack and 3 aces out of the total 5 of his team), Kaziyski (12 with 50%) and Michieletto (12 with 58%, who went wild in pipe), well served by Sbertoli. Considering also the results that have come out of the other camps, Itas Trentino is the only team to have already achieved qualification to the semifinals.
