Play Off, yellow-blue in semifinal waiting for opponent (Modena or Piacenza)

Today's success of Itas Trentino in Monza has allowed the yellow-blue to qualify for their 15th Play Off Scudetto semifinal in history, but without yet knowing the name of the opponent to be challenged from Thursday 13 April. The quarter-final between Modena and Perugia will in fact need one more match (game 5 scheduled for the Easter weekend), after Gas Sales Bluenergy this evening at the PalaBanca clinched the tie in the series (2-2). Regardless of which team it will face, Trentino Volley is already certain to be able to play three of the five matches in the semi-final confrontation at the BLM Group Arena by virtue of their better position in the standings compared to both Modena and Piacenza.

The possible dates of the matches that Itas Trentino will play in the semifinals of the Play Off Scudetto 2023:
Game 1: Thursday 13th April, 8.30 pm (at the BLM Group Arena)
Game 2: Sunday 16 April, 6 pm (away)
Game 3: Wednesday, April 19, 8:30 pm (at the BLM Group Arena)
Possible Game 4: Saturday, April 22, 8:30 p.m. (away)
Possible Game 5: Tuesday, April 25, 6:00 p.m. (at the BLM Group Arena)

The semifinal pairing will have to wait until next weekend to be defined, as both confrontations (Perugia-Milan and Civitanova-Verona) will require game 5. Itas Trentino is thus the only team to have ended the series in four games.
