Play Off Scudetto 2023, Itas Trentino scores again: 3-1 success at the PalaBanca!

The Play Off Scudetto Credem Banca 2023 semifinal is once again on Itas Trentino side. Tonight, at the Palabanca in Piacenza, the yellow-blue team played even better than it did last Thursday in Game 1, and won for the 3-1 the second best-of-five match played as the Gas Sales Bluenergy guests, in front of over 3.400 spectators.
This is a result that brings Angelo Lorenzetti's team with a deserved 2-0 advantage, just one victory away from the possible qualification to what would be the ninth Scudetto Final in the history of Trentino Volley. In order to earn three chances to settle the score (the first already on Wednesday evening in Trento), Kaziyski and his teammates not only showed a very effective volleyball, but also a remarkable attitude and mental strength; especially at the match kickoff, with an excellent job between block and defence, and in the middle of the fourth set, when the yellow-blue team managed to stop the hosts' attempt to re-open the match after their victory in the third set.
Alessandro Michieletto's continuous performance at the net (15 points with 46%, one block and two aces: mvp) was a highlight. He was well led by the outstanding Sbertoli (three aces, four winning attacks and one block), and he was also helped in leading the team to success by Laurenzano and Lisinac, who was once again decisive in the central line with 64% in the first half and two blocks.
