Play Off Scudetto 2023, Piacenza wins game 3 in three sets at BLM Group Arena

The Play Off Scudetto Semifinal series between Itas Trentino and Gas Sales Bluenergy will return to the PalaBanca in Piacenza the upcoming weekend to play its fourth match. In fact, the yellow-blue lineup this evening at the BLM Group Arena failed to take advantage of the first opportunity to winning the match, leaving the way to the Emilians players at the end of a multi-faceted Game 3, at least in the first two sets: the result at the end was 3-0, perhaps too severe, in favor of the guests, who, thanks to this result, nullifying the first of three match balls that was in favor of Itas Volley and will be able to play again in front of their own public on Saturday, April 22nd at 8 p.m. for Game 4. Indeed, in both the first and second sets Kaziyski and his teammates gave the impression that they could have the better of it, taking advantage of their own initial good streak in the sideout phase and at serve; in both sets, however, finding themselves ahead 21-18, the hosts lost the effectiveness shown up to that point, suffering the double comeback of the Emilians players, unstoppable with Lucarelli (22 points, MVP of the match) and Leal (15 points) on serve and in the counterattack phase. In the third set, on the other hand, there was much less duel, with the red-white team able to immediately take the reins of the game and the score, never leaving them again. Among the ranks of Itas Trentino we should highlight the 12 points of the Bulgarian captain (with an ace and 42% in attack), the scoreboard is in double figures also for Michieletto (11 points) and the good first half performance of Lisinac (57%). Džavoronok's entry in the third set was also positive, but his four winning balls with 67% did not equally succeed in providing the shock needed to turn the tide.
