Playoff, Scudetto Final sees renewed the challenge with Lube as in 2012 and in 2017

Civitanova will be Itas Trentino's opponent in the Playoff Scudetto Credem Banca Final series, which will be played at the best of five games. The two Game 5 semifinals played this evening in Marche and in Trentino allowed to determine the pairing of the last act of the draw that awards the 2022/23 Italian title, offering space for the third consecutive year of confrontation between Itas Trentino and Cucine Lube. By virtue of the better ranking position, it will be precisely Trentino Volley that will be able to count on the home court factor in three of the five scheduled games.

Here are the fixed dates of the matches of the 2023 Scudetto Finals series:
Game 1: Monday, May 1st, 6:15 p.m. (at the BLM Group Arena)
Game 2: Thursday, May 4th, 8:30 p.m. (at the Eurosuole Forum in Civitanova Marche)
Game 3: Sunday, May 7th, 6 or 8:30 p.m. (at the BLM Group Arena)
Possible Game 4: Wednesday, May 10th, 6 p.m. (at the Eurosuole Forum in Civitanova Marche)
Possible Game 5: Sunday, May 14th, 9:05 p.m. (at the BLM Group Arena)

The Final of the Playoff Scudetto Credem Banca SuperLega 2023 will give space for a Trentino Volley and Lube Volley confrontation, for the third time in history. The confrontation already awarded the Italian title in the 2012 edition, when the players from Marche region won in the tie break on V-Day in Assago, and in the 2017 edition, when the cucinieri players won the series in the best of five games.
In the Playoffs, the two Clubs have played four other Semifinals (2010, 2019, 2021 and 2022 editions), with Trento winning only the first one. The two Clubs have faced each other also in the Coppa Italia Finals (three times during 2012, 2013, 2017 editions) and in the Supercoppa (three times during 2009, 2012, 2013 editions).
With 90 official matches already played, Cucine Lube Civitanova is by far the opponent faced most times by the Trener Street’s club.
