Play Off, match #2 goes to Lube but Itas Trentino fight until the fifth set: series at 1-1

The series of the Credem Banca 2023 Scudetto Play Off Final returns to a tie and is extended by at least one act. After the opening game on 1st of May, Itas Trentino failed to secure an encore this evening at the Eurosuole Forum in Civitanova Marche, leaving game 2 to the hosts Cucine Lube after a multi-faceted challenge that ended only in the tie break in favor of the locals. A result that will necessitate another away engagement at the same venue on Sunday 14 May at 21.05 for game 4 (date variation compared to the previously communicated calendar).
After having suffered from the incisiveness of the service and the entire attack front of the Marche in the first two sets, which ended quickly in the hands of the Cucinieri, Itas Trentino was able to turn the corner and propose a concrete and effective volleyball in every fundamental. The taboo linked to game 2 of the Play Off Final remains, but Itas Trentino proved again tonight that they can have their say in any situation. Michieletto's 19 points (his team's best scorer) and Podrascanin and Lavia's 9 apiece, in addition to Kaziyski's 11 in the first two and a half sets, are tangible signs of how Trento was able to fight, looking for more solutions all over the net front.
