SuperLega, here is the official schedule 2023/24: debut on october 22nd in Cisterna

The schedule of the 79th A1 series SuperLega Credem Banca championship (2023/24 season) has been made official today. Itas Trentino men's reigning Italian champions will start defending the Scudetto it will wear on its jerseys on October 22nd in Cisterna di Latina; its home debut, however, is scheduled seven days later against Taranto. The first big match will be on the following turn, where the Trento team will be hosted by Verona to compete in the traditional Adige derby. Other matches: November 12th against Piacenza, November 19th against Milano, then three in a row; December 3d, December 10th against Modena and then on December 17th against Perugia.

Here are the dates: regular season will last just a little more than four months, between October 22nd and March 3d (last match); there are only three weekday-matches: November 15th 2023, January 24th 2024, February 14th 2024. The schedule then includes another day of competition not included in a regular weekend: the 11th day, scheduled on a holiday (Tuesday, December 26th) and to be played in Padua. The Supercoppa Italiana 2023, that will once again the Final Four formula, will be on Tuesday, October 31st and Wednesday, November 1st; Itas Trentino will once again be among the four participants and will face Sir Safety Susa Perugia in the semifinals at a venue yet to be made official. The 2024 edition of the Coppa Italiana will adopt the traditional formula, also used in the previous season, involving only the top eight teams in the first round (which ends on December 26th). The quarterfinals, defined based on the rankings placed after the 11th round of the regular season, will then be played in a single match at the the best-ranked team’s home on Tuesday, January 2nd or Wednesday, January 3d. The Final Four is scheduled between Saturday, January 27th and Sunday, January 28th at a venue yet to be made official. The top eight ranked at the end of the regular season will access the Play Off Scudetto; dates and details will be made official later.

This, in detail, is the schedule that will await Itas Trentino in the regular season, its 24th consecutive appearance in the top category, its 10th called SuperLega. The brackets show the date of the first and the second round.
