Training, on Wednesday evening last test match in Verona before SuperLega debut

From the “A22 derby” to the “Adige derby”, the goal doesn’t change: stepping forward on the path to the SuperLega debut. After last Saturday's encouraging 4-0 success against Modena, Itas Trentino’s male team will be in Verona on Wednesday, Oct. 18, to play the last test match of the preparation period.
Only four days before the away game in Cisterna di Latina, where the Gialloblù will defend the Scudetto they won last May 17, coach Fabio Soli will finally have the entire roster at his disposal. Trento will face an ambitious Rana Verona in its hometown, having done just one training session (yesterday) with the whole team. All six players returning from the recent Olympic qualifiers with their respective national teams (D'Heer, Kozamernik, Lavia, Michieletto, Podrascanin and Sbertoli) will be ready to go and will probably play at least a couple of sets, to see how they work together with the rest of the group.
"This is our only opportunity to start planning our game before the first championship match and, compatibly with the needs of each player, we will try to take full advantage of it. - explained coach Fabio Soli - For that reason, our only goal in this training session is to start creating the ‘volleyball mentality’ that we’ll need for the entire season; for everything else there will be time."
Unlike Trento, Verona has had a few more days to work with the whole team: last weekend, Džavoronok’s team participated in the Jesi Volleyball Cup, beating Milan 3-1 in the semifinals before losing the final act to Civitanova, again in four sets.
The joint training will be streamed live on Trentino Volley's YouTube channel: (www.trentinovolley.it/trentinovolleytv).
