SuperLega, the race for the title of Winter Champion: the possible scenarios

Tuesday 26 December will see the last round of the SuperLega Credem Banca 2023/24 regular season. Itas Trentino will take the court at 6 p.m. at the Kioene Arena in Padua to try to close the ascending phase of the championship in first place, a position it currently holds thanks to a one-point advantage (25 to 24) over Sir Susa Vim Perugia, the only team that can still contend for it.
Taking into account that the first discriminating factor to define the ranking is the number of points, followed by the number of victories and then by the set quotient, the Gialloblù will be confirmed leader at the end of the eleventh day and will obtain the platonic title of Winter Champion (already conquered in the 2003/04, 2009/10, 2010/11, 2012/13 and 2014/15 seasons) in one of the following cases
- it wins with any score in Padua
- it obtains the same result as Perugia, engaged at home with Milan
- it loses with any score in Padua and Perugia loses at the same time with any score with Milan (in the event of a tied score Trento would have one more victory).
Conversely, first place in the standings will go to Perugia if:
- wins with any score with Milan and Trento loses at the same time with any score with Padova (in case of a tie Perugia would have a better set quotient).
