Soli after Trento-Resovia 2-3: "We hold on to everything that this match"

"We knew that we would face a team like Resovia that had great individuality at its disposal and that up to this moment had expressed only part of its actual potential - commented Trentino Itas coach Fabio Soli at the end of the match -. Tonight, our opponents were able to play very effectively, putting us in great difficulty with the serve. From the final part of the first set, we struggled to receive inside the three-meter line, consequently also struggling in attack from area 4; we really cared about this match and so I must also say that we were good at sticking to the challenge in the fourth set, because getting that point in the standings was very important for us. We hold on to everything that this challenge told us, because it will serve us so much in view of the next important matches. The results we get in the future will also come down to how we can digest this defeat."
The next match in the 2024 CEV Champions League is not scheduled until February 21 (first leg of the quarterfinals). For the four weeks to come, Itas Trentino will then be able to devote itself exclusively to the Italian league and the Coppa Italia, starting with the match scheduled for Sunday afternoon in Piacenza (4 p.m.) valid for the 15th round of the SuperLega Credem Banca 2023/24 regular season.
