Valsa Group Modena-Itas Trentino 2-3, the match report

Game #2 match report. The starting six chosen by the two coaches were exactly the same as those used four days earlier at the IlT quotidiano Arena: Itas Trentino started with Acquarone at the head and Rychlicki as the opposite, Michieletto and Lavia in the band, Kozamernik and Podrascanin as  middle blockers , Laurenzano as libero. Valsa Group Modena restarted with Bruno as setter, Davyskiba as opposite, Juantorena and Rinaldi as outside hitter, Sanguinetti and Stankovic as middle blockers, Gollini as libero. The tricolours got off to an excellent start thanks to Michieletto and Rychlicki, forcing Giuliani to interrupt the game on 8-4. At the restart, Juantorena sounds the charge and almost single-handedly offers parity at 11, but it's a precarious equilibrium because Trento runs again with Lavia and Kozamernik (16-13 and 19-16). Again the locals climbed the slope up to 21-21; at the most difficult moment, Itas Trentino regained the flair of their best moments at break point and with Michieletto accelerated again (24-21), before closing out the set with a first time shot by Podrascanin at 25-22.
The second half was immediately balanced, with Modena trying to run away several times but being punctually taken back by the ITALIAN CHAMPIONS who, on 11-10, overtook them and tried to run away with the aces of Rychlicki (on Gollini) and Michieletto (on Rinaldi) for 15-12. Valsa Group did not give up and with Rinaldi and Juantorena first evened the score at 19 and then put the arrow 20-21. The sprint was on, with the guests still chasing but fighting with the knife between their teeth until 26-26. On the fourth set ball the locals closed the score and went to 1-1 thanks to an invasion at the net by Acquarone (26-28).
On the wave of enthusiasm, Modena got off to a great start (2-6 and 2-8), immediately creating the gap, with serve and counterattack, that would put them ahead 2-1 in the set count. This was clear when the Valsa Group flew to 5-13 with Juantorena in the lead, and then also to 8-18, when Soli decided to rest his entire high ball trio. The partial ended quickly, already at 15-25, but there was time to see four personal points from newcomer Magalini, who was in the spotlight on serve and pipe, while Cavuto (100th in yellow-blue) was stopped twice at the block.
In the fourth period Trento returned to playing as it knew how and quickly found a promising lead inspired by Podrascanin and Kozamernik's blocks(9-7) and Michieletto's counter-attacks (13-10). In the second part of the period Lavia's effectiveness at the net and Michieletto's consistency propelled the guests to 19-15 and then 22-17, which effectively started the contest towards the tie-break that became effective on Davyskiba's service at the net (25-19).
The fifth set was played in equilibrium until 7-7, then Valsa Group accelerated with Sanguinetti (ace for 7-9) and Davyskiba (9-11). Trento went down by three (9-12), but didn't give up: with Rychlicki serving, they went up to 12-12 and then put the arrow in with an ace by Michieletto (14-13). Rinaldi's diagonal error made it 3-2 on 15-13, on the first match ball.
