Play Off Scudetto, Itas Trentino repeats again in game 3 and advances to the Semifinals

The fourth win of the season (out of a total of five matches played) over Valsa Group Modena opens the doors of the sixteenth Scudetto Play Off Semi Final (out of a total of twenty-one) for Itas Trentino. With a 3-0 win today at the T Quotidiano Arena against the team from Emilia, as had already happened eleven days before and also exactly one month ago in the regular season, the Italian Champions closed the account of the quarter-final series already in game 3, earning the chance to devote themselves solely to their European path (the Champions League semi-final return match is played in Civitanova on Thursday) during the coming week.
The first of three opportunities to get through the first round of the draw that assigns the 2024 tricolour was capitalised on tonight in front of their own public by Soli's team, who will, however, have to wait until at least next Sunday to know the name of the opponent they will face in the next round of the draw: Monza or Civitanova itself, who winning today at home took the challenge to game 4.Tonight's performance was even more convincing than the previous two in the series, with the tricolors capable of creating the gap in the first half of each set, then managing the advantage in the second half and closing the deal in the third set. Daniele Lavia was the big voice on this occasion, the absolute mvp and best scorer of the match with 17 points, 54% in attack and two aces; along with the Calabrian outside hitter, Rychlicki (16 with 67%) and middle blockers Podrascanin-Kozamernik also performed well: eight of the nine blocks scored tonight bore their signatures.
Below is the scoreboard of game 3 of the quarterfinals of the Play Off Scudetto SuperLega Credem Banca 2024 played tonight at the ilT Quotidiano Arena.
