Champions League in Antalya: it is the 10th international title, the 21st ever

Just over thirteen years after the last time (27 March 2011, Champions League won in Bolzano), Trentino Volleyball has returned to win the European Club Championship title. The one obtained today in Turkey is the tenth international trophy in the history of the Club of via Trener, the twenty-first overall in twenty-four years of activity, and confirms the international dimension of the Club of via Trener.
Slightly less than half of the trophies put on the trophy cabinet have in fact come in events that included opponents from outside Italy: in fact, the palmares include three other Champions Leagues (the first two won in Prague in 2009 and in Lodz in 2010), five Club World Cups, the first four won in Doha between 2009 and 2012 and the last one in Czestochowa on 2 December 2018, and a CEV Cup (obtained at the end of March 2019), which until this evening represented the last title won by Trento in the international field. Trentino Volleyball has also entered its name in the roll of honour of the Italian Championship (2008, 2011, 2013, 2015 and 2023), the Italian Cup (2010, 2012 and 2013) and the Italian Super Cup (2011, 2013 and 2021).
As of tonight Trentino Volley is the second most successful club in the single competition. In the event's roll of honour only Zenit Kazan (6 successes) has won more CEV Champions League.
