Soli after Trento-Perugia 1-3: "We need something a little extra to..."
“We knew the serving and reception performance would be very important in this game and in fact, we lost despite having superior percentages compared to Perugia – said coach Fabio Soli at the end of the match - . At the serve we had great improvements, especially in the moment where we realize that we need to suffer and be able to stay in the game with great humility and commitment. Particularly, we should be able to play the balls better when the speed becomes significant, which was the case today for the opponent, who pushed hard on that fundamental. I think that Sir Susa Vim was far more patient than us on high balls, where it has indeed shown a lower percentage of attack but, unlike us, they worked a lot on against the blocks, which we immediately felt. I think that this match was a great opportunity to understand where we are and we surely understood that there is still a considerable amount of work to do. There’s certainly a great basis, but we need something a little extra to compete against the Perugia team”.
The next objective for Itas Trentino is programmed on Sunday the 3rd of November at 18 o’clock at PalaSavelli in Porto San Giorgio (province of Fermo), where the Champions of Europe will compete against the newly promoted Grottazzolina for their sixth round in the SuperLega. The team will begin by preparing the remake of the recent Final of the Supercoppa on Monday, hosting an evening sitting in the weight room of the ilT quotidiano Arena.
