2025 CEV Cup, Arcada Galati swept 3-0 again at the ilT quotidiano Arena

The return to the ilT Quotidiano Arena in Trento, after two consecutive away matches, proved fruitful for Trentino Itas. The European Champions secured their spot in the Round of 16 of the 2025 CEV Cup without significant difficulties in front of their home crowd this evening (where they will face Portugal’s Benfica).
The task initiated in Romania seven days ago with a promising four-set victory in the first leg was completed today with a commanding 3-0 win over Romania's Arcada Galati in the return match. Even after securing the two sets needed to clinch qualification, the yellow-and-blue team was determined to finish with a flawless victory, achieving their tenth win in the first twelve matches of the season so far. Standing out above all was outside hitter Giulio Magalini, who seized the opportunity given by coach Fabio Soli to showcase his skills, effectively replacing Alessandro Michieletto both on the court and on the final scoresheet. With 17 points, a 65% attack efficiency, one block, and one ace, the Verona-born hitter led his teammates to victory, stepping up in the few moments of balance during the match.
Trentino Itas overwhelmed their opponent with impressive net play (55% team efficiency and six winning blocks) and impressed again in the third set with their "2.0 lineup", featuring young players Bristot and Pellacani, who each contributed three points and quickly found their rhythm in the starting six.

Below is the score sheet from the second-leg match of the 2025 CEV Cup Round of 16, played this evening at the ilT Quotidiano Arena in Trento.
