SuperLega, at ilT quotidiano Arena just another great 3-0 victory against Monza

The rapid ascent of Itas Trentino in the standings of the SuperLega Credem Banca 2024/25 regular season shows no signs of slowing down, even when facing an opponent that had caused them the most trouble last season. This evening at the ilT Quotidiano Arena, the European Champions confirmed their good form by securing three points against Mint Vero Volley Monza in just 71 minutes of play.
The Brianzoli, coming off three consecutive victories and already having eliminated the yellow-blues in the recent editions of the Scudetto Playoffs and Coppa Italia, were hardly given a chance to respond. Despite being without Kozamernik, the yellow-blue team managed to deliver a very convincing performance in every fundamental aspect, starting strongly from the blocks in each set. With Rychlicki on fire at the net (ultimately named MVP with 18 points, 80% attacking efficiency, one ace, and one block) and the outside hitter duo Michieletto-Lavia (scoring twenty-five times together) inspired both in the front and back lines, Soli's team imposed a very high pace on the match that the opponents could never keep up with. They quickly took control in the first two sets and fought a bit harder thanks to Marttila's (6 points) introduction in the third period. This victory also allows Itas Trentino to play the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia 2025 (on December 29) at home; with these three points just secured, the yellow-blues are guaranteed to finish the first half of the season among the top four in the standings.
