Jan Kozamernik out for a long time: cervical disc herniation

Following the physical issues experienced during the past weekend, Trentino Volley athlete Jan Kozamernik underwent medical examinations in recent days, which revealed a symptomatic cervical disc herniation.
As a result, on Thursday, November 28, he will undergo surgery performed by Dr. Alessandro Sacchelli at the Casa di Cura Privata Piacenza. The microsurgical procedure has been deemed necessary to enable the athlete to resume competitive activities as soon as possible. Recovery times will depend on the post-operative progress but are expected to be no less than thirty days.
