Soli: "Three vital points to continue believing and fighting for the top spot"

"These are three vital points to continue believing and fighting for the top spot in the regular season standings," explained coach Fabio Soli after the match. "I am very satisfied because we managed to overcome a situation that, in the past, we might not have resolved in the best possible way. For several matches now, we’ve promised ourselves to finish the season without any regrets about our performances on the court. Tonight, we faced a Lube team that fielded an unusual lineup, but at the same time demonstrated they have a complete squad, capable of putting us under significant pressure. Our level of play dropped after a perfect first set, but we were able to react and, with tenacity, secure a victory we really wanted. I take away several positive aspects from this match, but there's certainly still work to do and areas to improve, especially under pressure. Our goal until the end of the season is to experience many more moments like these, as they will be useful in any situation where we are fighting for something important."
In four days, on Wednesday, February 26th, Trentino Itas will be back in action at the ilT daily Arena in Trento, facing the French team Chaumont in the return leg of the 2025 CEV Cup quarter-finals.
