On Saturday will start the 2025 Playoffs: Trentino Volley’s 22nd participation

The 2025 SuperLega Credem Banca Scudetto Playoffs will kick off on Saturday with the first match of the quarterfinal series. Thanks to securing first place in the regular season standings, Itas Trentino will make its debut at the ilT quotidiano Arena against Cisterna Volley in Game 1 of the best-of-five quarterfinal series, scheduled for March 8 at 8:30 PM. Against Cisterna, Trentino Volley marks its 22nd postseason participation in its 25 seasons of activity. The club only missed the playoffs in the 2000/01, 2001/02, and 2019/20 seasons (the latter due to the lockdown).
In its previous 21 appearances, Trentino Volley advanced past the first round an impressive 17 times. In the other four instances, eliminations occurred in the quarterfinals. This year, the club aims to reach its tenth final in its last 17 playoff participations. Excluding the unfortunate 2013/14 season (two matches and two losses), Trentino Volley has always won at least one match in every playoff it has competed in, achieving victory in its opening game in 16 out of 21 cases.
