Soli: "we wanted at all costs one step at a time"

“In this game we really showed that we wanted to play one ball at a time to build a victory that we wanted at all costs one step at a time - explained coach Fabio Soli at the end of the match - . Taking last year's experience into consideration, exactly during the semifinals, we truly outdid ourselves at not being overwhelmed by all the different elements of focus and dedication. In particular, we showed our best during the final part of the match, in which we managed to limit Piacenza's offence with great defenses, something that we had perhaps lacked in the first two sets. All these elements are the result of prudence, shrewdness during the game and a strong will to do things that we must hold on to, carry, and keep in the series of Scudetto Finals. I am very excited to have earned the qualification, because it will be my first Finals and I’m happy to be able to experience it with this team".
Itas Trentino will now have nine days to prepare for Game 1 of the Scudetto Finals, which will kick off on Sunday, April 27 at the ilT quotidiano Arena in Trento (6 p.m.). Ticket presale (date included in the membership) will open in the next few hours.
