Playoffs Scudetto, the finals start in favor of Itas Trentino

The law of the ilT quotidiano Arena continues to endure and hold true even in the most important series of matches of the season. Game 1 of the Scudetto Play Off Final has indeed immediately seen a decisive victory for Itas Trentino men's team, which was able tonight to hold the court tightly and score a 3-0 win on Cucine Lube Civitanova.
The eighteenth consecutive success in front of the familiar audience, which managed to occupy every single seat of the sports hall in Via Fersina once again for the night (seventh “sold out” of the season). The win was as well deserved as ever and especially valuable to start on the right foot in a confrontation that already offered balance and a very high level of volleyball in its first act. The home team proved its worth by constantly holding the ball during the game and showing great determination and precision in all fundamentals from the start. The tactical training prepared for the match allowed Soli's team to work well in every set between blocks (11 direct) and defense, thus harnessing the guests' attack and containing their serve. The break point opportunities were then taken advantage of once again by Alessandro Michieletto (mvp and best scorer with 20 points, 54% at the net, one ace and four blocks), well backed up by the first-half productivity of middle-blockers Kozamernik and Flavio and by Gabi Garcia, who was good at immediately getting into the right match mood by taking over for a Rychlicki who was already out of service in the first set due to back problems (11 points with 56% attack and two blocks). Thursday, May 1, game 2 in the Marche region will try to reaffirm the outstanding performance that emerged in this debut challenge.
