The winning streak of 9 won matches in a row in SuperLega UnipolSai has been ended by Cucina Lube Civitanova. The Italian champions, indeed, tonight won in PalaTrento the remake of the Finale Scudetto 2017. It has been an entertaining and balanced match, most of all during the second and third set. The match won 3-1 by Cucina Lube sow many moments of suspance during those two sets, in which the home team answered well to the opponent services and to every attack, most of all thanks to Kovacevic (best player of his team, performing 17 points and 52% at the net) and to Eder's services. On the other hand during the other two sets Lube's supremacy was clear, since at the break point phase Medei's team pleyed perfectly, performing great blocks (17 successful ones), and great services. Diatec Trentino's biggest regret is not hving took advantage of the advantage they reached in the second set (16-12 and then 21-19), allowing the former players of the team Sokolov (mvp of the match, he performed 21 points, 5 blocks, 60% under the net and 1 ace) and Juantorena (17) to defend. The simultaneous defeat of Verona in Modena hasn't disntanced the fourth position even more. It still is two points away and there will be a direct match in a week.
